My Debut - Sept'18
I held my very first exhibition on the 22nd and 23rd of September, 2018. It was a solo exhibition, wherein I put up 12 of my canvases for sale. Although the exhibit was hosted on a small scale in my house, it was a huge step for me. Fortunately, and surprisingly, it was attended by more than 50 people, and all 12 of my paintings were sold. I donated all the proceeds, a total of Rs. 25,600, to the Victoria Memorial School for the Blind, to help provide the latest equipment for the education of the children.
Sahayog - Feb'20
I was invited to participate in the 2020 Sahayog art show, a prestigious annual exhibit held every February in the Prince of Whales museum. I put up 3 of my canvases - Resol, Zephyr, and Merak - for sale. A part of the total proceeds of the show was donated to Garbage Free India, an organisation devoted to promoting zero-waste communities and sustainable lifestyles. I was introduced to many idiosyncratic artists - some sculptors, some painters - whose passion, enthusiasm and creativity just inspired me further to continue doing what I love. It was a truly enriching experience for me.
